GE C30-7

The C30-7 is a 6 axle diesel electric locomotive made by General Electric Transportation between 1976 and 1986. 1087 were built for almost every major railroad in the United States and Mexico. I modeled five of the most famous purchasers: ATSF (157), BN (242), CSX (95), NS (80), and UP (140).

I made this model as a personal project. Principal geometry was done in Blender and texturing/baking was completed in Substance Painter. Final renders were done in Blender. These are game ready assets that sit between 137,000-181,000 triangles.
