EMD SD7/SD9

The SD7 and SD9 are a series of diesel electric locomotives built by General Motors Electro Motive Division throughout the 1950's. 188 SD7's were built from 1951 to 1953, and 515 SD9's were built from 1954 to 1959.

I used a combination of drawings and 3D scan retopology to produce these. This model was originally a personal project that was negotiated into a freelance model for Giraffe Labs' Railroader.
